I have confessed Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe Jesus is God, the living Word, who became flesh. I believe He voluntarily atoned for my sin by dying on the cross. I believe He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
We reserve the right to exclude or deny any event or group that the church leaders feel does not align with our beliefs and values.
We use text messages to communicate special events, inclement weather closings, or emergency updates. Typically, we send less than one message per month. Please note, message and data rates may apply.
If recurring, enter the date the event will begin.
You will be provided a four digit code by the property or events manager. This code will be entered into the electronic lock(s) to access the facilities. Your code will be activated prior to your event and deactivated when it is over.
Access will be granted the day of the event. If you will need additional access, please explain your need in the space below.

Tunnel Hill Church is excited about the important decision you have made to have your event here and are honored that you have chosen the church as the venue. The purpose of this policy and agreement is to ensure, as best we can, that your event runs smoothly for you, for your guests, and for the church staff who will be assisting you.
1. All use of facilities at Tunnel Hill Christian Church is subject to the prior approval of the Property Committee except for THCC members.
2. Use of the church’s property is restricted to the areas defined by this approved Facility Request Form.
3. Smoking in buildings is not permitted. Designated areas are eight feet away from any door. Locations are outside of all exit doors.
4. Use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. At all times, the renting party is responsible for making sure all attendees are respectful of church facilities.
5. Food, beverage, and candles are not permitted in the Sanctuary.
6. The renting party is required to supply its own linens, dinnerware, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils, unless expressly agreed to prior to the rental.
7. The renting party and attendees must not engage in any illegal or inappropriate behavior.
8. All functions must end, and church be vacated by the designated time.
9. Visits to the church in advance of the event must be coordinated through the church office.
10. If minors are to be present, ensure they are always supervised.
11. The facilities must be left in the exact same condition as the beginning of usage.
12. The renting party is responsible for any damage to the building during its use and for extra cleaning required because of its use. THCC, in its sole discretion, may use such an amount of the Security Deposit to defray any damage cost. Additional cost must be paid by the renting party. The custodian will determine any damage after the event is over and report it to the property committee.
13. The renting party agrees to indemnify and hold the church harmless for any damage that may occur in connection with this event.
14. Tunnel Hill Christian Church is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
15. If shelter houses are used, make sure the grounds are picked up and children are NOT USING the picnic tables to jump on.
16. If you have paid a rental fee for linens, please be sure to have them cleaned and returned to the church the same week of your event, discuss with the Events Staff church secretary if unable to meet this time frame.
Before all premises are vacated, the primary contact person must check that:
- If upstairs was used in CAC, designated person must make sure it is clean, vacuum if needed, and garbage taken out and lights out in all rooms.
- Make sure all tables, chairs and floors that were used during your event are clean.
- Tables/Chairs are put away properly. CAC leaves (8) round tables up with chairs around the outside of the tables. In Fellowship Hall, leave 6 tables and chairs up.
- Yellow mop bucket and mop are in the back where tables and chairs are kept; and, if any spills occur during your event the cleaning solution is under the center cabinet.
- Do not dispose of dirty water in any sink. Please, toss it outside in the gravel away from church doors.
- Please make sure all trash inside and outside of the facility has been put in garbage bags and placed in dumpster outside. Garbage bags are located under the center island in the kitchen. Dumpster is located outside the CAC doors and to the left.
- Restroom lights are off, no water is left running and toilets are clean.
- All non-essential lights are turned off.
- Make sure doors are locked. Pull on the door to make sure it locks.
- Please gather all personal belongings and excess food from the fridge.
- No food or beverages are permitted in the sanctuary.
- You are responsible for providing all tablecloths, skirts, and /or chair covers. You may use your preferred vendor for rentals.
- All items brought in by guests, caterers, etc....must be removed; tables cleared, trash put in trash bags, and taken to the outside dumpster if a custodian is not requested.
- We recommend that you designate one person to facilitate your event, as the THCC coordinator will not coordinate the set-up.
- We allow outside musicians and bands to accompany your event with appropriate music only. Remember you are in a worship center.
- Do not use any confetti or any kind of small decorations due to leaving a messy floor and dripless candles can only be used.
NOTE: We want to help you have a successful event and exceptions to the decorations policy will be made (especially for weddings or funerals) on a case by case basis.
- Please clear all items with our Events Staff no later than one month prior to your event date.
- Any item(s) that may leave holes in the wall or remove paint from walls including, but not limited to: A) tape, B) Thumbtacks, C) Nail, and D) glue. Magnets may be used on CAC walls only.
- Only silk flower petals are allowed and must be picked up immediately after the event is over.
- All items brought in for the event must be removed after the conclusion of the event.
- We will not store items to be picked up on the next business day. THCC will not be responsible for the care or storage of any items left at the facility. Exceptions approved by Pastor or Events Staff.
- Any seasonal décor that is set up in the sanctuary or chapel for Christmas or Easter will not be removed without permission from the Pastor or Events Staff.
- All banners and decorations will not be removed from the walls of THCC without permission from the Pastor or Events Staff.
- Special rates and discounts are available for church members and non-profit organizations.

Required for all building rentals, including non-profits. The deposit will be refunded after the event, unless it is necessary to be used for repairs resulting from damages during your event.
This is the building usage value. It must be confirmed by the office before the amount is finalized.
We understand planning events can be difficult to fully foresee the time and attendance expected. By checking this box, you are agreeing to do your best to honor the commitment to time and attendance selected in this form. Additionally, you are agreeing that if your event ends up having larger than expected attendance, or taking longer amounts of time, you may be billed at the higher rate or some of the damage deposit could be held back.
GREATER THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR
- If the event is cancelled more than 30 days before the event, you will be refunded all facility fees and deposits.
- If the event is rescheduled, a refund will not be given and a new contract will need to be signed with updated dates.
LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR
- If your event is cancelled less than 30 days before the scheduled event date, we will withhold the full amount paid to that point to cover expenses related to building use.
